During his time with Melbourne, Norrie played in five ANZAC Day matches at AAMI Park as Storm hosted the Warriors. Reflecting on ANZAC Day, Norrie explained the emotion of the day as a whole.

"The boys that get to play feel very privileged to play on such a big occasion. ANZAC Day is a very special day," Norrie said.

"You could tell in the sheds all the boys felt extremelly privileged to be able to play footy on such a special day."
