Melbourne Storm has today announced AAMI Park will host the final trial game of pre-season as the team puts its final plans in place for Round 1 of the 2015 season.

The team will play two other trial matches before the final hit-out at AAMI Park, in Griffith against Canberra Raiders on Saturday 7 February and against feeder team Brisbane Easts at Gosch’s Paddock (Melbourne) on Saturday 14 February.

The AAMI Park match, on Saturday 21 February, against Canterbury Bulldogs will kick-off at 6.30pm and will follow the Club’s traditional Family Day.

Members and fans will be invited to Family Day from 2pm at Gosch’s Paddock to see the players introduced on stage, get autographs and enjoy a host of family activities, before walking over to AAMI Park to watch the match.

Tickets for the AAMI Park match will go on-sale at 10am on Thursday 18 December via ticketek.com.au; with 2015 Storm members having access to specially priced tickets. Kids will enter the stadium free if accompanied by a paying Melbourne Storm member.

The Dick Smith Auckland Nines tournament will again feature as part of the NRL’s pre-season schedule with the team travelling to New Zealand for the two day tournament on 31 January and 1 February.  The 16 clubs have been divided into four groups and will compete for a prize pool exceeding $2.4 million. Storm will play the Panthers, Rabbitohs and the Cowboys in the preliminary stages of the tournament.

The NRL has confirmed the 2015 Draw will be released mid-December.
