Overview:

Justin O’Neill’s 2014 season was hampered by injury with the flying winger only managing four first-grade games for the season.

After sitting out the opening two rounds of 2014 through injury, O’Neill returned via NSW Cup affiliate Cronulla before making his first NRL appearance for the year in Round 5. Stringing together four consecutive games, O’Neill’s last involvement in Storm’s season came on ANZAC Day where he suffered a severe ankle injury.

Coming back from injury later in the year, the 23-year old made six appearances at reserve-grade level but was unable to break back into Craig Bellamy’s starting 17.

O’Neill will be a welcome addition on the wing for Melbourne in 2015 bringing plenty of pace and try scoring ability to Craig Bellamy’s side.
