Overview:

An impressive pre-season training stint in Melbourne saw Joel Romelo earn a position on the Club’s first-grade roster for 2014.

Originally signed with Storm's feeder club Easts Tigers for the 2014 season, Romelo spent some time in Melbourne prior to Christmas before earning a full time contract and under a relationship between the two clubs.

The versatile ball player featured twice in Craig Bellamy’s NRL side throughout 2014. Injured in his Storm debut, Romelo only experienced limited game time against the Rabbitohs in Round 10 before he returned a month later to make an appearance in Melbourne’s impressive win against the Titans on the Gold Coast.
