Melbourne Storm Coach Craig Bellamy says in form front-rower Jesse Bromwich is 'in a good space' after he and his partner Lezyola's second child last week.

As a result, Bromwich didn't travel to Sydney for Storm's Round 24 meeting with the Panthers last week, the first game he has missed since 2012.

On Friday morning, Bellamy confirmed the prop, who has enjoyed a stellar season was in a good space heading into Storm's crucial clash with reigning premiers, the Sydney Roosters.

"We haven't had too many training sessions this week, we had a really light one on Wednesday and a really light one this morning," Bellamy said.

"He's got through them obviously as he would, he had a rest at the weekend, he's in a really good mood and a really good space at the moment.

"Both Lezyola and Isaac are doing really well, Jesse is in a really good space and we're hoping he can play well on Saturday for us."
