This Saturday evening, as a part of Member Appreciation Round, Storm players will wear their own individual member number during Melbourne's clash with Cronulla.
Showing off Storm's special 2014 Close the Gap jersey which will be worn on the weekend, Captain Cameron Smith explained the concept and how important members and membership are to the Club.
"As part of the NRL's Close the Gap Round, this is the jersey that we will be wearing, it also features on the front each players' membership number," Smith said.
"We're all members of Melbourne Storm.
"The club has got an initiative this weekend, Member Appreciation Round which says thank-you to all of our members because they are a very important part of our club.
"All of our members and fans will be invited onto the ground after the match is finished to have a kick, or pass of the footy."
