Jesse and Kenny Bromwich could become the first set of brothers to play for New Zealand since 2006 in Friday night's ANZAC Test.

Young Storm forward Kenny Bromwich was named in the Kiwis 18-man squad on Sunday, joining older brother Jesse who has represented his nation on eight occasions.

"I always thought he was a chance for this weekend, I was very excited when I found out too and very happy for him," Jesse Bromwich told NRL.com from the Kiwis training camp.

"It's good to see all his hard work's paid off.

"Having a lot of fresh faces brings a lot of energy to the team and you can't help but get excited by them."

Kenny Bromwich is among six new faces drafted into Stephen Kearney's New Zealand side for the first time.

Melbourne Storm will have 14 players involved in matches across the representative weekend. For more, click here.
