Melbourne Storm Coach Craig Bellamy gives his thoughts on Monday's thrilling victory and previews the week ahead in the Round 7 Coach's Corner brought to you by HOSTPLUS.

Three tries in the final stages of Melbourne's Round 6 meeting with the Dragons allowed Storm to stage a memorable comeback. Bellamy will be hoping his side can harness that passage of play going forward in season 2014.

"The guys understand that they played a really good last 20 minutes, there was a lot of effort that went in there," Bellamy said.

"It's probably too much to expect 80 minutes like that but having said that we need to go for longer periods of the game.

"We were really committed and very disciplined, we stuck to the structures that we worked on all week. Our ball control really picked up and things rolled on from there.

"Its certainly is a blueprint, we just need to make sure we are doing it at training consistently week in week out and I'm sure that will come out onto the field."
