Over 300 young Storm fans were the real winners at Melbourne Storm's annual Billy's Buddies clinic with the entire playing group spreading an important message.
“I personally really look forward to this day, my kids are here today and a lot of the other boys’ children are here," Billy Slater said on Monday.
“I know some parents have travelled interstate and [from regional Victoria] to come down for this day.
“It’s great to see so many purple shirts with number one on their back and hopefully everyone can have a great day here.”
The day began with a two hour clinic and then concluded with a signing session on Gosch's Paddock.
