Speaking to Storm TV, Manchester City FC Director of Football Txiki Begiristain talks about the deal that has seen Melbourne Storm partner with Manchester City FC in acquiring A-League club Melbourne Heart.

With the historic deal confirmed this morning, Begiristain believes the move into Melbourne is an exciting one for the Manchester City brand.

“I think for us it is very important as a global brand,” Begiristain said.

“We are a global brand, we are in Manchester, we are doing well.

“We want to do it well in New York and now we have another opportunity to stay in another league that is growing.”
