Partnerships Coordinator (6-Month, Fixed-Term Contract)
Melbourne Storm is an Australian professional rugby league club playing in the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. It is the only NRL team based in Victoria and has experienced substantial growth and success in its short history.

About the Role
This role is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Partnerships Manager, you will play an important role within the Commercial Department. The Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day coordination and administration for Melbourne Storm’s Commercial Partnerships team.
Key to success will be the proven ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, build and retain relationships, source and collate key data for reporting purposes, as well as assisting in the delivery of contractual rights and benefits for Melbourne Storm Commercial Partners.
The role will require exceptional communication and collaboration with internal staff within Melbourne Storm. The ability to be a self -starter who can work at pace, juggle multiple priorities, and bring second to none organisation and time management skills will be integral for this role. As the Partnerships Coordinator, you will:
The Partnerships Coordinator will be responsible for a number of key deliverables across client and partner engagement, acquisition strategy, relationship and stakeholder management including, but not limited to:
- Support the partnerships team with the delivery of contract entitlements across the Melbourne Storm partnership portfolio (e.g., signage, ticketing, branding, player and coach appearances, activations) ensuring they are delivered in a timely manner and to a high standard.
- Lead with a customer-first approach to provide excellent client and stakeholder service and communication.
- Attend partner meetings with Partnership Managers and contribute updates where necessary.
- Collate information on a regular basis to assist the partnerships team with post campaign, mid-season and end of season reporting.
- Work closely with events and corporate teams in delivering club and partner events as well as hospitality and game day operations.
- Management of the sponsorship databases, ensuring they are updated on a regular basis, optimised and fully utilised, as well as other administrative tasks.
- Support the sales team with the development of sales decks within the Canva platform.
- Assist the team with campaign briefs and proposals and other new business opportunities.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in using Canva will be highly desirable
- Proven ability to deliver high quality work in a fast paced, high performance environment
- Positive attitude, ambitious and wanting to be part of a fun team
