Finals Week 1: Everything you need to know to tune in

The regular season is done and dusted and the eight contenders get serious this weekend as they go in search of the ultimate prize.

The Telstra Premiership finals series kicks off with a heavyweight showdown between defending premiers Melbourne and Tommy Turbo's in-form Sea Eagles.

Saturday sees the Roosters and Titans square off in a sudden-death clash in Townsville before Penrith and Souths renew their rivalry, the winner earning a week off and the loser living to fight another day.

The final game of the weekend pits Newcastle and Parramatta in an elimination final which promises to be a ripping contest.

For the on-field action in week one of the finals, NRL.com will have live match centres which include updates as they happen, in-match highlights and live audio coverage.

The NRL Daily Briefing news podcast is now available on Apple Podcasts. It can also be downloaded on Google Podcasts.

And if you have an Alexa-enabled device you can download the NRL skill at amazon.com.au.

There have been changes to Telstra's Live pass in 2021. More information on the changes can be found here.
