Cameron Munster and Felise Kaufusi will make their debuts for Australia this Friday night.

The young Storm duo have been named to come off the bench for the Kangaroos in their second World Cup match against France at Canberra Stadium.

The call up is yet another deserving accolade for the pair who enjoy stellar premiership-winning seasons with Melbourne.

The green and gold jersey will be added to the maiden Maroon one Munster received in Game II of this year’s State of Origin series.

After switching from fullback to five-eighth at the start of the year, the 23-year-old has adjusted brilliantly on his way to earning plaudits at Club, State and now international level.

An Australia debut caps off an incredible breakout season for Kaufusi.

He stepped up in 2017 to play all 27 games on his way to being named Storm’s 2017 Most Improved Player.

Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga confirmed both Kaufusi and Munster will line up against France.

“I have made it very clear that I wanted to give all players in the squad a chance to play in the green and gold through the course of the World Cup and we are very much working towards that,” Meninga said.

“That will give me and the coaching staff a good opportunity to see what all of those players can do and will help to shape our squad for the remainder of the tournament.”
