Easts Tigers have produced one of their best performances of the season to defeat Mackay Cutters 34-10 at Suzuki Stadium.

Four consecutive tries during the middle part of the game told the story as the Tigers moved back inside the Intrust Super Cup top four.

Charlie Galo performed well after being given another starting opportunity while new Storm recruit Robbie Rochow played well in his first game at feeder level.

“Robbie came on and once he came on he went for 50 minutes straight,” Easts coach Scott Sipple said.

“He was really good, strong up and down through the middle.

“He keeps it very simple, he knows his job and knows what he needs to do.”

Easts will next host Ipswich Jets this Sunday afternoon.
