Melbourne entered golden point against Wests Tigers, needing a win to get their season back on track having lost two of their last three games.

The game also marked Suliasi Vunivalu’s NRL debut and it took just two minutes for the Fijian to make an instant impact with the first try of the game.

Wests Tigers hit the front before Storm scored three consecutive tries after the break to take the lead.

Scores were then leveled up though, sending the game into a golden point nail-biter.

After several botched attempts from either side, the game-winning duties fell into the hands of the ever-reliable Cooper Cronk.

He stepped up to kick the field goal before being mobbed by teammates.

That win proved crucial as it sent Storm on a seven game winning streak from that point on.
