Brisbane are a proud club so their bounce back to form comes as no surprise.

A troublesome Origin period saw them win just one of five games but Wayne Bennett has found a way to rejuvenate his troops in recent weeks.

Three straight wins has been the result, the latest a 20-10 triumph over Canterbury that has moved them back into top four contention.

That recent run of results, coupled with the fact their last trip to Melbourne in Round 15 last year produced a win, means the Broncos will come to play on Friday night.

“I didn’t get to watch all of their game against the Bulldogs but obviously the Dogs are vying for a top four finish and they would have been tough to beat,” Dale Finucane said,

“To be able to do that is quite good, they (Broncos) are in contention amongst the top few teams.”

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Broncos, Friday 26 August, 7:30pm.

Storm returns to AAMI Park this week as Friday night marks the first of two back-to-back home blockbusters to end the season.

After two away games in five days, the playing group is looking forward to being back out in front of the purple faithful.

“It is great to be back at AAMI Park, we’ve got our last two games here and obviously we’ll be in a semi-final here as well,” Finucane said.

“We are really excited to be back here and playing at home.”
