Easts Tigers face a crucial end to the season after the slumped to a 28-22 loss at the hands of Redcliffe on Sunday.

The Tigers battled a poor completion rate of just 50% in the first half that kept their opponents in the contest at 12-all.

Their error count eventually caught up to them as the Dolphins scored the first three tries of the second half to runaway with the win.

Jeremy Hawkins scored a try in the 79th minute as he continued to build on his solid return from a hamstring injury.

Brodie Croft also crossed the line and kicked two conversions.

“We just have to take it week by week, the effort was there,” Easts coach Scott Sipple said.

“We need to go out against Wynnum with the same intensity and execute a little better.

“That was the difference between us and Redcliffe, they just had the polish on the end of their sets and held the ball at crucial times.

“If we can do that against Wynnum this week we will get the lollies for sure.”

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Broncos, Friday 26 August, 7:30pm.
