Melbourne Storm U20

The Thunderbolts will look to bounce back from last week’s loss and maintain their solid form of the past month.

To do so they will take on he second-placed Cowboys in Townsville.

It is a difficult challenge but one Storm’s Under 20s are looking to embrace.

“We treat every game as though it is very important, we pride ourselves on being competitive and competing each week.,” Eric Smith said.

“Every game is really important, we were disappointed in last week’s effort in some places and not being consistent with it.

“We are playing against a red-hot team this weekend against the Cowboys.

“Especially up there it is never an easy game. They’ve been one of the benchmark teams in the last couple of years.

“We are just looking for a more consistent performance in the last couple of weeks in regards to our intent and effort going into the game.”

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Rabbitohs, Saturday 6 August, 7:30pm.

The Thunderbolts will be chasing their seventh win of the season.

It has been a strong month for the young side, who won three straight games before last week’s loss to the Roosters.

They will take on the Cowboys at 1300 SMILES Stadium this Saturday at 5.
