Kevin Proctor has backed Melbourne to continue its good form during the Origin period into Saturday night’s clash with the Roosters.

Storm will be looking for their fourth straight win when they return to AAMI Park.

To do so they will need to overcome a Sydney side boasting a host of Origin and international stars across the board.

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Roosters, Saturday 23 July, 7:30pm.

Led by Kiwi enforcer Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, their forward pack is no doubt their strength but there is plenty of playmaker power in the Roosters’ midst.

“Definitely, they’ve got Pearce and Tupou and Kenny Dowell in their backline,” Kevin Proctor said.

“They’ve got strike power all over the field and everyone needs to turn up because if we don’t we will get dusted.”

After going 5-1 during the Origin period, the side will now look to take that winning feeling into the back end of the year.

Their run home will see Storm play four sides currently in the top eight.

However Proctor has backed the side’s current run of form to hold up in the back end of the year.

“We’ve put ourselves in a pretty good position at the moment, hopefully we can keep that going into the back end of the year,” Proctor said.

“We can take quite a bit of confidence out of that (Origin period). We’ve had a fair few players out there but the guys that have come in have done their job… we couldn’t ask too much more of them.”
