For just the second time in Australia-New Zealand Test history both countries will be lead by captains from the same NRL club.

Storm teammates Cameron Smith and Jesse Bromwich will make history when they lead their nations into Friday night’s ANZAC Test.

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Panthers on Saturday 4 June, 7:30pm.

The unique scenario has been seen only once before when Sydney Roosters Brad Fitler (Australia) and Richie Barnett (New Zealand) were opposing captains in 2000.

Smith will lead the Kangaroos for the 21st time on Friday in what will be his 44th appearance in the green and gold – only four other players have represented Australia more.

Bromwich has been awarded the honour of leading New Zealand after building himself into one of the NRL’s true stars both on and off the field.

Each player will lead their nations in different ways and the Storm family will be watching on with great pride as they do.
