Storm prop Jesse Bromwich has claimed his country’s top rugby league honour after being named Kiwi Player of the Year on Wednesday night.

Bromwich will have to upgrade his trophy cabinet to fit the most recent addition alongside his back-to-back Storm Player of the Year awards of the last two years.

As well as playing every game for Storm in 2015, Bromwich also represented New Zealand in all four Tests and helped lead them to the number 1 world ranking.

He was rightly awarded the Steve Watene Medal, the NZRL’s highest honour, while Storm teammate Tohu Harris was also nominated for the award.

Bromwich averaged 144 metres per game in the NRL last season, ranking him first at Storm and second overall in the competition.

The Club is proud to boast a wealth of Kiwi talent including Kevin Proctor, Tohu Harris, Nelson Asofa-Solomona and Jesse’s brother Kenny.
