Melbourne Storm CEO Dave Donaghy penned this letters to members following Saturday night's result, thanking them for their loyal support of the Club throughout the 2015 season.

On behalf of everyone at Melbourne Storm, thank you for your support of the team this season.

Unfortunately the result didn’t go our way last night but I have no doubt the pain I saw on the faces of the players, coaches and support staff after the game will drive them to go further in 2016.

Your contribution this year has allowed us as a Club to perform to a standard on-field that few at the start of the year thought we were capable of.

Off-field, your support saw Storm register a record Club membership number – 15,784 eclipsing last year’s total of 15,692. As a rugby league club in Victoria, that is a something I am incredibly proud of.

In the next few weeks, our membership team will be reaching out to you with information relating to 2016.

I would love to see everyone that was a member this year renew again for next year so we can move one step closer to the ultimate prize.

Your support ensures that we can perform on the field – without it, the challenge is so much harder.

I encourage you to bring a friend or family member and introduce them as a member in 2016 so we can reach our next goal of 20,000 members.

Again, thank you for your support this year, for those at the game on Saturday night, thank you for the noise you brought and remember... #werunasone.

Kind regards,

Dave Donaghy
CEO
