Easts Tigers recorded a strong victory while the Sunshine Coast Falcons enjoyed the bye in Round 20 of the Intrust Super Cup.
Tigers rally for strong win over Capras
The Easts Tigers continued their march towards a top three place on the Intrust Super Cup ladder with a comprehensive 56-22 win over the CQ Capras at Browne Park.
The Tigers were without Storm listed duo Matt Duffie and Felise Kaufusi, but were aided by the inclusion of regulars Shaun Nona and Francis Tualau.

A fast start from the hosts had the visiting Tigers trailing 12-0 in the opening stages of the match.
It took some time for the fifth-placed Tigers to settle, but once they found their rhythm, they swiftly imposed their potency in attack on the Capras.
The Tigers responded to their slow start with three quick fire tries to gain an advantage and a deserved 24-12 lead going into the main break.
A dominant second half display ensued as the Capras defence struggled to withstand the constant attacking pressure from the away side, who scored a further six tries in the second half.
Storm listed playmaker Shaun Nona converted eight of his ten attempts on goal, also scoring a try in the win.
