For the first time in the Club's history, Melbourne Storm members and fans will be able to enter the playing field at AAMI Park following the conclusion of Storm's clash against Cronulla this Saturday night (August 16).

As a part of Member Appreciation Round, those attending Melbourne's Saturday twilight clash with the Sharks will have the unique opportunity to step onto the playing field and emulate the feats of their heroes.

Following the conclusion of the match (approximately 10 minutes after), a second siren will sound in conjunction with a public announcement welcoming patrons onto the field of play.*

Be at AAMI Park when Storm host the Sharks in Round 23. Tickets here.

Storm captain Cameron Smith said: “It’s great that our members and fans will get a chance to experience what it’s like to be in the middle of such a world-class stadium.

“It’s the first time in our history that we’ve been able to do this for our members and fans and I hope they take up the opportunity to grab a footy and have a kick on the ground post-match.”

In addition, Melbourne Storm members will be invited to take part in a Member March around the old 'Graveyard' site at Olympic Park site, as we celebrate our 15,432 loyal and passionate members in 2014.

At 4:25pm, members will meet under the footbridge outside AAMI Park and walk around the 'Graveyard' continuing into the stadium where it will carry along the southern end of the field.

Members wanting to be involved in the 2014 Member March prior to kick-off are asked to register here.

* Please note: entry onto the field of play will only be from the northern, southern and western stands (Aisles 13-24 & 27-37).
