An exciting prospect with freakish natural ability, Munster joined Melbourne after a breakout 2013 season with Central Queensland Capras in the Queensland Cup which saw the fullback win the competition's Rookie of the Year award.

Fast track to the present day and Munster has settled into first-grade level with little fuss after a stellar 2015 season that saw him fill in for Billy Slater at fullback, turning heads in the process with his scintillating play.

The sky is the limit for Munster’s potential, which he will be working hard to realise in 2016.

  • Cameron Munster emerged as a surprise packet in 2015, making the fullback position his own due to the injury absence of Billy Slater.

The 21-year old Norths Knights junior admirably filled enormous shoes at fullback as he played 16 consecutive games to capture the attention of the Rugby League world. He is now widely regarded as a rising star in the NRL.

Munster’s stellar season was reflected in his post-season accolades, polling equal second alongside Cameron Smith in the Player of the Year Awards whilst picking up Best Back and Rookie of the Year honours.

  • Munster shared his time between Melbourne's U20's and Queensland Cup feeder side Easts Tigers throughout 2014, continuing to develop his game and helping the Tigers to a top four finish.

Munster made his first-grade debut in Round 12 against the Cowboys in Townsville, filling in at fullback for the injured Billy Slater.
