The first crop of players from the 2017 side have begun pre-season training today.

11 players in total from last season began today; Josh Addo-Carr, Cheyse Blair, Scott Drinkwater, Brodie Croft, Jahrome Hughes, Ryley Jacks, Vincent Leuluai, Curtis Scott, Brandon Smith, Joe Stimson and Christian Welch.

Their return comes six weeks after Storm’s Grand Final victory against the Cowboys.

With 114 days until Round 1, the group will now begin their preparations for the 2018 season.

More members of Storm’s Premiership-winning squad will return to the Club at the end of the month.

Melbourne currently have 11 players on World Cup duty, with that first crop to begin their pre-season training from early January.
