Melbourne Storm have today unveiled of a new logo for the 2018 season as the Club prepares to celebrate its 20-year anniversary.

Created in collaboration with brand agency WiteKite and inspired by the original design, the brand mark pays respect to the Club’s rich history whilst embarking on a new and exciting chapter.

Today’s announcement reaffirms Melbourne Storm’s commitment to remaining bold, brave and unwavering in the constant pursuit of success on and off the field.

The logo is reflective of the Club’s history and values while looking forward to the next 20 years.

The inclusion of navy is a nod to the Club’s Victorian heritage, while the iconic Storm purple and Storm Man holding the lightning bolt, continues to represent strength and is symbolic for all Storm has been known to represent.

Storm’s 20 Year celebration will be marked by a series of events and celebrations to commemorate the occasion, which will kick-off at the Club’s Season Launch.

The first home game of the season (Round 2 v Wests Tigers), which will also acknowledge the 2017 Premiership, will give fans a front row seat to the celebrations.

The new logo will feature on the Club’s 2018 apparel, to be revealed later this week, while membership packs will also feature the fresh look. 

Melbourne Storm CEO Dave Donaghy highlighted the excitement around combining a fresh approach with respect to the foundations of the Club.
