Will Cooper Cronk play on next season?

That answer may be leaning towards ‘yes’ after reports surfaced on Friday that the champion halfback might seek an opportunity to extend his playing career in Sydney.

“I caught up with Cooper today," Cronk’s manager George Mimis told the Daily Telegraph.

"Since the Grand Final he has been reflecting on his possibilities. Today he has advised me that his inclination will be to continue to play should the right opportunity present itself.

“So I will now embark on having some relevant conversations and see where they take us.”

Cronk played 323 games for Storm before deciding to move to Sydney to begin the next chapter of his life off the field.

The 33-year-old departed Melbourne having given everything possible to the Club over the last 14 seasons.

His Storm career ended on the deserving high of premiership glory earlier this month as he helped the Club to a 34-6 Grand Final victory over the Cowboys.
