Storm have the NRL’s best defence so will be meticulously preparing for whatever Wayne Bennett’s men may throw at them.
“They can score points from anywhere,” Will Chambers said.
“They’ve got some class players so you’ve got to stop them but it is easier said than done.
“They’ve got Anthony Milford, Ben Hunt and some big forwards in Sam Thaiday, Adam Blair and Josh McGuire. I’d dare say Darius Boyd is back this week so that is another class player there.
“It is going to be tough but if we can defend well and limit their points it will increase our ability to stay in the game.
“It is going to be a tough game, it is going to be physical and I know they are going to come down here ready for it.”
An added boost to the Broncos will be the expected return of Darius Boyd to their lineup.
Their captain missed the opening two weeks of the Finals series with a hamstring injury but he is widely tipped to slot back into the fullback role for the visitors this Friday night.
Boyd has done it all for his Club, state and country and a player of his level of experience is invaluable to his side at this stage of a season.
“He adds a lot of leadership, he directs them around the field well,” Chambers said.
“In defence you always see him building their structure. He is massive for them, he’s their captain and he’s the one they’ll look to in the big moments.
“If he does play, it is just another class player in their side.”
