Harry Grant and Cameron Smith both received awards at the 2017 RLPA Awards on Tuesday night.

Cameron Smith has been named the Australian Representative Player of the Year at the RLPA awards on Tuesday night.

Smith received the honour following another outstanding season in the representative arena.

In the ANZAC test back in May, Smith became just the second Australian player in history to play 50 tests for His country.

The 34-year-old was also honoured for his outstanding contributions to the game in a special presentation led by Queensland teammate Johnathan Thurston.

Thunderbolts captain Harry Grant was also rewarded for a stellar season, named the RLPA's NYC Player of the Year.

The young hooker has shown tremendous potential not only as a player but as a leader in 2017 with Storm's Under-20s side.

He shapes as an exciting prospect for the future and one for Storm fans to keep a close eye on.
