Easts Tigers have moved into third on the Intrust Super Cup ladder with a 46-10 win over Souths Logan Magpies.

Five unanswered tries told the story with Storm youngsters Brodie Croft scoring a double and Sale Finau contributing one himself.

Young Tonumaipea scored two himself while Mark Nicholls got Easts Tigers on their way by crossing the line in the third minute.

“Young was really good, he scored a couple of tries,” Storm development coach Marc Brentnall said.

“He has just been nice and direct with the football and aggressive in defence.

“Mark Nicholls was really strong, he had plenty of runs and got some good metres.

“His involvement has been really good, he’s been working really hard.”

Easts Tigers have the bye this weekend as do fellow Storm feeder club Sunshine Coast Falcons.
