Ten Melbourne Storm players have visited two young rugby league players who were involved in a devastating car accident in late July.

Solomone Fuavao and Sione Taimani play for the Robinvale Storm in the Sunraysia Rugby League.

The pair were involved in a head-on car accident several weeks ago that sadly saw two people pass away, including 18-year-old Tupou Latu Taulanga, who played for the Chaffey Titans in the same league.

Fuavao was visited in hospital by Storm players Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Vincent Leuluai, Justin Olam, Tui Kamikamica and the Club’s welfare office Andrew Blowers.

On the same day Taimani was visited by Young Tonumaipea, Felise Kaufusi, Shem Tatupu, Charlie Galo, Brandon Smith, Sale Finau and football operations coordinator Houston Wade.

The players spent an hour with each of the young men before presenting them with Storm playing jerseys signed by the entire 2017 playing group.

Fuavao and Taimani are said to be recovering well.

The Club will continue to stay in contact with both of them as they look to commence their rehabilitation process.
