Melbourne Storm are set to reap the rewards of Tim Glasby’s Origin experience at the business end of the season.
After Queensland’s heavy defeat in Game I this year, coach Kevin Walters turned to Glasby as one of a host of Maroons inclusions to help turn the series around.
It worked perfectly.
Glasby played a part in upsetting NSW in Game II and was flawless in the decider, as he helped his state to one of its most famous series wins.

Now the prop is back in purple with a sharpened focus on a big finish to the season.
The 28-year-old played a busy 31 minutes against the Raiders last week, amassing 26 tackles and running for 71 metres.
He hopes the experience and confidence he gained during those 20 days spent with Queensland will help him be at his best when his Club needs him most at the back end of the year.
“I learned a lot during that period,” Glasby said.
“At the same time I just tried to take my work ethic into Origin and sort of improve it a bit more.
“I’ve only been back for a week so only time will tell if I’ve learned a lot during camp but it is good to be back here and training with Storm, I’m enjoying being back after some time off and I’m feeling fresh.
Glasby has been named in the starting side for Sunday’s clash against the Sea Eagles at AAMI Park, kicking off at 2pm.
