Brodie Croft has continued his strong form in reserve grade, helping steer Easts Tigers to a 34-12 win over Norths Devils.

The young playmaker was hugely impressive at NRL during the six week Origin period.

With Storm’s experienced players coming back into the first grade side, Croft dropped back to the Intrust Super Cup and has maintained his high standard, finishing the game with two line break assists.

“Crofty played well, controlled the game well in what his first game going back to Q-Cup since he played NRL,” Storm development coach Marc Brentnall said.

“It was a really good first up performance from him going back. He just needs to take his experience and the things he learnt in the NRL and take them back to Q-Cup now.”

Storm prop Charlie Galo has also built a consistent month of football.

Galo was again in the best for Easts, with 138 metres in 41 minutes.

“Charlie played really well, ran nice and hard and had plenty of involvement,” Brentnall said.

“He has had a really good month since coming back from injury.”

Easts head on the road this Sunday to take on the Wynnum Manly Seagulls.

Easts Tigers 34 (Leon Ellia-Niukore, Billy Walters, Brayden Torpy, Adam Crear, Linc Port, Charlie Galo tries; Brayden Torpy 5 goals) def Norths Devils 12 (Michael Lucas 2, Luke Pollock tries) at Archer Park, Mundubbera.
