Tim Glasby will be bursting at the seams to get off the bench for Queensland tomorrow night.

When the moment arrives the rock-solid Storm prop knows he will be ready to do his job.

Glasby has earned an NRL career but not only doing his job but doing it extremely well.

Now he is determined to showcase that in one of the biggest games of his career.

“That is something anyone who comes off the bench wants to do, make an impact,” Glasby said.

“It is about improving on the start and picking up the pace if you can.

“Myself and Hessy (Coen Hess) both came off the bench, new to Origin, we will be looking to do that again in Game III and hopefully improve. If you’re not looking to improve you’re probably not doing your job.

“All of us on the bench offer different parts of our game. It will depend on how the game is flowing but whatever Kevvie needs from us at the time we will do it, whether it is short minutes or long minutes, I am sure all of us can handle it.”

Rivalry continues! Melbourne v Manly, July 30. Book now!

Glasby in Origin camp last week by Storm teammate and fellow Rockhampton native Cameron Munster.

Ben Hunt also hails from the country town, home to around 80,000 residents.

“There has been a few Rocky boys play in the past and there is a few in this team which is great,” Glasby said.

“It is obviously a good endorsement for the footy that goes on up there at Rocky and the system that they’ve got in place.

“Rocky is only a small place so to see a few boys in the one team is good.”
