Greg Inglis may no longer wear purple but the Storm family is sending their love to the superstar.

On Wednesday night Rabbitohs revealed their captain had entered a mental health rehabilitation facility.

Craig Bellamy sent a text of a support to Inglis and phone Rabbitohs coach Michael Maguire after hearing the news.

The Storm coach also used his weekly press conference to echo his words of support for Inglis.

"He is a pretty special guy G.I, to hear that is quite sad but we know he is in good hands," Bellamy said.

"Knowing the sort of guy he is, he will recover from this. We want to tell him that everyone here from Storm is really thinking about him. We've loved him and still love him.

"He has been a pretty special guy in a lot of people's lives here at the Storm for a long period of time."

Storm take on the Rabbitohs in Perth this Sunday. Kick off 6.30pm EST.

We return to AAMI Park on June 2. Watch us take on the Knights!
