Storm youngster Brodie Croft has led Easts Tigers to a famous 18-10 win over top-of-the-table Redcliffe.

The 19-year-old was in fine touch, steering his side around the park against a Dolphins side that reached the Intrust Super Cup Grand Final last year.

“Brodie Croft probably had his best game, he is starting to own the side and take control,” Easts coach Scott Sipple said.

“He is looking more comfortable there, we have only had him for three sessions (this season).

“I think that was Brodie’s best game for the year. His running game was back, he was taking the line on, he was great.”

Redcliffe scored first after 15 minutes but the Tigers rallied to run in three of the remaining four tries in the game.

The win was Easts first of the 2017 season and they will remain at home this coming Sunday when they host Northern Pride at Suzuki Stadium.
