Melbourne Storm has today announced the signing of Sunshine Coast Falcons player Erevonu ‘Tui’ Kamikamica until the end of the 2018 season.

The Fijian front rower caught the attention of Storm recruiters this year after a stellar start to the Queensland Cup season.

Kamikamica also represented Fiji earlier this month in the Pacific Test against Papua New Guinea, coming off the bench to finish with 168 metres.

Be at AAMI Park when we take on the Panthers, Saturday 4 June, 7:30pm.

The big-bodied 22-year-old is a skillful, hard runner who ticks all the boxes of a first grade player.

“He is the hardest working young man I have ever witnessed play the game at this level,” Falcons coach Craig Ingebrigtsen said.

“Tui is always trying to improve his game on and off the field, he really values the jersey he plays in each week and genuinely cares for the playing group he plays with.

“A great advertisement to any aspiring player who wants something, if you work hard enough someone will find you and give you the opportunity to realise your dreams.”

Kamikamica will continue to play for the Falcons for the remainder of the season before relocating to Melbourne in November.
