Nelson Asofa-Solomona speaks with Storm TV ahead of the opening day of the 2015 Auckland Nines tournament. Watch the interview in the video player above.

The young forward, who is in his first season with the NRL squad said he is looking forward to the opportunity the weekend will bring and highlighted a fellow Thunderbolt graduate as one player he is keen to see out on the field in the shortened format of the game.

"I'm looking forward to going home, to go see my family. It's good to be a part of the Nines with the Storm boys for the first time," Asofa-Solomona said.

"I'm looking forward to seeing Suli (Suliasi Vunivalu) have a good go, he's a good friend of mine."
