Melbourne Storm will host Manly on ANZAC Day in Round 8, 2015 in a blockbuster at AAMI Park.

With 2015 marking the Centenary of the ANZAC’s and after lengthy discussions with the NRL, Storm agreed to allow traditional opponents the Warriors to host their own ANZAC Day game in New Zealand, before it returns to AAMI Park in 2016.

In return, Storm is set to face the Warriors at home in Round 5 in an Easter Monday blockbuster.

Storm CEO Mark Evans said:

“While we are disappointed not to have the Warriors come to Melbourne on ANZAC Day in 2015, we understand the NRL’s desire to host a match in New Zealand on ANZAC Day as a part of the Centenary celebrations.”

“We look forward to hosting the Warriors on ANZAC Day in 2016 when they return.”

The complete NRL draw for the 2015 NRL Telstra Premiership Season will be revealed this morning from 11:00am.
