In relation to a report that aired on Channel 7 tonight, Melbourne Storm has issued the following statement:
Melbourne Storm this morning spoke to Kevin Proctor about the circumstances that led to an alleged incident on the Gold Coast on Wednesday night.
Proctor informed the Club that he had no involvement in the incident that is under investigation by Queensland Police.
Regardless, Storm has reminded Proctor of the responsibilities that come with being an NRL player and the standards the Club expects of its players.
Storm has also notified the NRL Integrity Unit of the incident and will discuss the matter further with Proctor on his return from annual leave.
