Melbourne Storm winger Matt Duffie is in the running to win the prestigious Ken Stephen Medal presented by Telstra for his work in the community.
The 24-year old is among 15 other nominees who have been involved in a range of programs from supporting professional athletes studying at university to dedicating countless hours to children’s literacy programs and striving to stamp out bullying in schools across the country.

Specifically for Duffie, the NRL has recognised his great work with The Epilepsy Foundation. Duffie has been involved with the foundation since 2011 when they joined Melbourne Storm's network of charity partners. Among other things, he has spent time with families and children affected by epilepsy and hosted them at Storm games.
