Craig Bellamy is hoping his side can replicate the consistent effort and endeavour shown in recent weeks when Storm travel to Campbelltown to face the Tigers on Monday night.
Melbourne recorded consecutive wins last weekend after defeating the Broncos in Brisbane and will be looking to make it three from three in 2014 for the first time since Round 3.
"Our performance has been a lot better the last three weeks, or more consistent throughout the game," Bellamy said.
"Having said that, I've been around too long to think the first 17 weeks was just a myth.

"We just have to continually work hard on things we think are important for us each week and hopefully we can hang onto that sort of effort."
Bellamy refused to buy into speculation the Tigers would be affected by a week of media attention, saying the focus within Storm would rest solely on themselves and what they need to do to prepare.
"I can't control how they're preparing or how they are going to play," Bellamy said.
"At the end of the day we just worry about ourself and go from there."
The coach also commented on the recent re-signing of promising youngster Ben Hampton who committed to the Club for a further two seasons during the week.
"We were really happy to hang onto Ben, he's been with us for a long time," Bellamy said.
"There are some things in his game that he certainly needs to improve in and he's working really really hard on that.
"He's still only 22 years of age.
"We think he's shown enough signs this year that he's going to be a regular first-grader."
