Melbourne Storm prop Jesse Bromwich and centre Will Chambers are set to play their 100th game in the NRL in their clash with the Brisbane Broncos on Friday night.
Jesse Bromwich joined Melbourne Storm in 2009 and quickly made an impression in the Club’s U20s forward pack. Bromwich was a key part of Melbourne’s premiership side in the National Youth Competition of that year, which led to first-grade selection and subsequent debut against Leeds Rhinos in the 2010 World Club Challenge.
After playing seven games in the 2010 NRL season, Bromwich continued to emerge and became a regular starter for the Storm, notably playing in the club’s 2012 Grand Final victory and featuring heavily in Storm’s World Club Challenge triumph over Leeds the following year.
The 25-year-old has since represented New Zealand in 10 tests and was the only Melbourne player to play every game during the 2013 NRL season.

Will Chambers began his career at Melbourne Storm in 2007, making his debut in the same year against the Sydney Roosters in Round 10. The centre became known for his versatility while his pace and ability to find the try-line developed into a trademark.
The Nhulunbury junior had a breakthrough season in 2009, scoring 12 tries over 27 games for Melbourne and featured in the Club’s Grand Final victory over Parramatta. Chambers departed Storm the following year, switching codes, joining the rugby union’s Queensland Reds on a two-year contract.
Chambers returned to league and Melbourne in 2012, enjoying a swift return to form, helping Storm to another premiership in the same year.
Earlier this year, Chambers’ consistent form at club level earned him representative honours for Queensland in the third game of the 2014 State of Origin series.
