Junior home games begin
Friday 15 February 2013 2:47 PM
Melbourne Storm’s SG Ball and Harold Matthews teams will play their first home games of the 2013 season on the weekend at Casey Fields, as Western Suburbs travel south to take on Storm in both junior competitions.
Last round, Melbourne’s SG Ball side suffered a narrow 24-28 loss when they travelled to face Canterbury. Close to causing an upset, the U18’s put in an impressive performance which Tony Adam’s side will build on as the season progresses.
In the U16 competition also playing the Bulldogs, Melbourne’s inaugural Harold Matthews squad travelled to Belmore, eventually going down 62-10 to Canterbury. Ross Antoniolli’s side will be looking to bounce back this weekend against Western Surburbs.
Saturday at Casey Fields provides a great opportunity for Storm members and fans to support the club and watch live rugby league before the NRL season begins on Sunday 10 March.
