Melbourne forward Ryan Hoffman has returned to pre season training this week in Melbourne. In 2013, the Storm fan favourite will be looking to build on his impressive 2012 season that yielded a premiership as well as a recall to the Australian test team.
Hoffman picked up where he had left off in Melbourne during the 2012 season. After spending a year overseas with Wigan in the English Super League, the powerful forward returned to the NRL fold.

He quickly proved why he was regarded as one of the competition’s most damaging forwards before heading abroad. It didn’t take long for Hoffman to once again become a crucial component of Craig Bellamy’s squad and plans during 2012.
The importance of Ryan Hoffman to Melbourne Storm for the 2012 season was none more evident than in the club’s Grand Final triumph. In the early throws of the Grand Final, with scores level, the second rower scored the first try of the match, giving the eventual premiers an early lead.
Hoffman’s 2012 not only included a premiership win, but also a Test recall with the Kangaroos. The 197 gamer returned to the Test fold in October, coming off the bench in Australia’s 18-10 victory over New Zealand in Townsville.
