Brett Finch returns to Storm

Brett Finch returns to Melbourne in 2013 following a two-year stint with Wigan, eager to help Craig Bellamy’s squad replicate their 2012 Prempiership triumph.

Having played two seasons with Storm in 2009 and 2010, Finch returns to AAMI Park with fond memories of his time in Melbourne. The former New South Wales halfback will provide Craig Bellamy’s squad with great depth in the halves providing crucial support to the creative pairing of Cooper Cronk and Gareth Widdop.

The determined halfback began his career back in 1999 with the Raiders before moving north to join with Sydney and then Parramatta before linking up with Storm.

Finch brings with him an enormous amount of first grade experience, having played 257 games at NRL level that has included 15 finals appearances. Over the past two seasons, Finch enjoyed a stint in the English Super League with Wigan where he played 60 games for the Warriors.

During his time in Melbourne, Finch played 41 games that included a Grand Final appearance in 2009.
