BIOGRAPHY
Career: Raised in Hughenden, north-west Queensland, O’Neill played his junior football for Brothers in Townsville, establishing an impressive junior resume. He was placed on a Storm scholarship at 15. After arriving in Melbourne at the end of 2008, only injuries prevented O’Neill from impressing more than he did, with his 2009 season ending in a premiership with the under-20s squad.

Preview: A speedy outside back, O’Neill will learn plenty in the full-time ranks, and, with his body maturing, he will no doubt put pressure on his more experienced teammates for a full-time berth.
