The Harvey Norman Women In League initiative is an integral part of Rugby League’s One Community program. One of the many new objectives for Women In League during 2010 is to further engage female fans. The NRL’s One Community Program is undertaking some research to find out from female fans what they would like to see included in the program.

The survey will only take a few minutes of your time, and we’d love to hear your thoughts! Feel free to send the link to your girlfriends who are rugby league fans! The more information we receive, the more relevant the program will be to all of us!
All entrants go into the draw to WIN a $250 Harvey Norman Voucher.

The Women In League program celebrates and acknowledges the important role that women play in the game. Through a series of annual functions around the country, One Community provides an opportunity for women from all levels of the game to network and celebrate their valuable contribution. The initiative has rewarded more than 1,000 women since 2007. The McGrath Foundation will partner with the Women In League program to raise funds for breast care nurses and breast cancer awareness, particularly in younger women.

The Women In League Round this year is Round 16, and all Clubs hosting a game that weekend are encouraged to promote and celebrate the various roles played by women across the game. This year, the plans are to further engage female fans during this time and throughout the rest of the season.
