Justin Rodski - Chief Executive Officer

Justin Rodski was appointed CEO of Melbourne Storm in February 2021.

Justin joined Storm after spending ten years with Victorian AFL club, Essendon FC, where he was most recently Chief Commercial and Customer Officer.

With a background in media and sports journalism, Justin is an experienced sport executive with established credentials, is well respected in the industry and has a great understanding of what it takes to run a high performing club in a highly competitive market.

Justin led many successful strategic initiatives in his time at Essendon and has played a significant leadership role delivering key commercial growth, strategic priorities and building a stronger member and fan base.

Matt Tripp - Chairman

Matt Tripp was appointed Chairman of the Melbourne Storm in May 2020 after serving as a Director and shareholder since 2013.

Matt has spent the majority of his career working in online wagering, which saw him create the two largest Corporate Bookmakers in Australia in Sportsbet and BetEasy.

After building, running and selling those businesses’ over the past 15 years, Matt is now focused on ensuring the Storm continue on with the sustained success they’ve enjoyed over the past decade. 

Bart Campbell - Director

Bart Campbell has been on the board of the Club since 2013, having stepped down as Chair of the Storm and Sunshine Coast Lightning early 2020.

Bart has since joined the boards of New Zealand Rugby and World Rugby. He is CEO of Left Field Live, a Melbourne-based boutique sports marketing agency. Bart holds a Masters in Commercial Law, is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor and Harvard Business School Advanced Management Programme graduate.

He has spent over two decades outside his native New Zealand working in the business of sport in London and Melbourne, where he founded Global Sports Management and amassed extensive governance experience, including senior leadership roles at Essentially Group and CSM.

Gerry Ryan OAM - Director

Gerry is a Melbourne-based businessman and entrepreneur with diverse interests across manufacturing, entertainment, wine, hospitality, property, and sport in Australia and overseas.

As the founder and Chairman of Jayco, Gerry helms Australasia’s largest manufacturer of recreational vehicles. He is Chairman of several Australian entertainment enterprises, including theatre producers Global Creatures, animatronic specialists Creature Technology Company and theme park Gumbuya World.

A strong supporter of Australian cycling over many years. He is the driving force behind the formation of the GreenEDGE Cycling Team, which became the first Australian backed team to win a stage of the Tour de France in 2013.

Gerry is a Director and part owner of NRL Club, Melbourne Storm, Deputy Chairman of Visit Victoria, and Chairman of the Melbourne Cup Foundation. His interest in the thoroughbred industry extends as a racehorse owner, breeder and having won many group races including winning the 2010 & 2017 Melbourne Cup.

In recognition of his significant and extensive contribution to the nation’s manufacturing, leisure, sport, and tourism industries, and to the wider Australian community, Gerry was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2000.  

Brett Ralph - Director

Brett is the Founder and Managing Director of Jet Couriers, a family business with operations in Australia, New Zealand and the United States. In addition to his transport companies, he has a diverse range of business interests operating throughout Australia, Europe and North America. 

An avid sports fan, Brett is also a Director of Melbourne United Basketball Club and is Chairman of the Melbourne Aces Baseball Club.
